In the initial years of the company, RGP focused on trading of Byadgi (Kashmiri) chilli variety that created a premium niche in the spices industry known as Kashmiri powder. After decades of trading Byadgi chilli , we ventured to process a wide varieties of chillies. In 2006, Shree Marula Siddheshwar cold storage was constructed and followed up with RGP cold storage in 2008. Cold storages helped the company to achieve sustained growth yearly.

Growing demand motivated the company to set foot in the production of an array of chilli powders. In the year 2015, we built a new state of the art grinding unit. After, consistent growth yearly in value added products, in 2020, we built a new state of the art facility for Crushed Chilli, Stemcut Chilli and Fumigation services. In 2023, we built another state of the art grinding unit to cater the growing demand for Chilli Powder.

CSR Activity

RGP realised that COVID-19 outbreak had left daily wage workers without any source of income, food and other essentials. Our team identified these workers who live in and around Byadgi and supported their families with adequate ration kits. Also, in this time of great need, we donated a large number of ‘Personal Protective Equipment’ (PPE kits) to government hospitals. Annually, the company donates Blackboards, TVs to the nearby Govt schools to improve the education quality of the region.
