Product Process

Primary Process

The crops grown and dried in different regions of the country are transported to RGP processing yard. Here, the crop is further sun dried, homogeneously mixed, graded to achieve the right moisture level, homogeneity, prevent pest, ash, mud contamination and achieve the quality as per the customer’s specification. This process also preserves and prolongs the original quality of chilli.

Destemming

In this stage, the stem (pedicle and calyx portion) of the chilli is removed carefully by manual labour

Grading

In this process unwanted pods are separated manually from the lot to improve and achieve the right quality of the lot as per the customer specifications.

Packing

The chilli is packed as per the customer requirements 5 Kgs to 50 Kgs, in PP, Gunny bags.

Storage

The chilli is stored in bulk quantity in the cold storage. We conduct routine checks throughout the storage to prevent pests, insects and rodents. The right conditions, temperature and humidity is maintained to improve the shelf life of the product.

Grinding

The grinding unit is state of the art facility, complies to all the food safety standards regulations. Produces 1 ton/hour Chilli powder, has 2 stage grinding to retain the natural flavour and original characteristics of the chilli powder.
